Citibank Debuts App Designed For iPad

The app allows customers to trace and analyze their dollars with graphs along with other visual representations of accounts and transactions. Users can check their balances, control cash flow, settle payments, transfer funds, access rewards and find nearby Citibank ATMs and bank branches.

Unlike other apps for that iPad that mimic mobile phone and personal computer design, Citibank for iPad takes advantage of tablet computer abilities to supply its new interactive features, according to the company.

Customers can analyze personal spending habits with automatically generated charts that detail their purchases and compare those habits with general consumer data that may be filtered by location, age bracket, income bracket and get category.

And with the app comes immediate access to customer service via Twitter and updated content from Citi Personal Wealth Management and ladies & Co., a financial service for ladies.

“Our iPad app is all about listening to our clients and knowning that they need their digital banking experience to be more engaging and dynamic - beyond the standard static tables you discover along with other iPad apps,” said Tracey Weber, Citi internet and mobile banking head, North America consumer banking.
